Subdivision Covenants

Many Wee-Ma-Tukkers are unaware that we are
not governed by a single WMT covenant, but by covenants pertaining to the individual
subdivisions.

Click on the picture below to locate your subdivision number, then download a .pdf
(printable and searchable) for it.

This map is based on old documents, and needs updating. All the subdivisions aren't
marked. If you have more information, please email

The two signs above were ordered so that
the Board could assess their durability. If
they pass muster, all our lakes will have
similar signs near appropriate roads.

Minutes of June 1, 2010 Wee-Ma-Tuk Landowner’s Association   (WMTLA)

The meeting was called to order at 7:10 p.m. by President Al Coleman.  Other board members
present were Vicki Strong, Chris Strong, Vicki Kuzniar, Mike Prane, Bill Phillips and Bobbie
Davis.

Minutes:  Tabled until next meeting.

Treasurer’s Report:   Bill Phillips reported that $6,000 was made from the Spring Fling.  The
current balance is $11,700 which will be enough to stock the lakes this year and hopefully
complete the Lake Signs project.  Motion to approve was made by Chris Strong, second by
Vicki Strong.  Motion carried.

Membership Report:  Vicki Strong reported that there are still many unpaid memberships.   A
motion was made by Vicki Strong to send out a second notice to those still unpaid, second by
Vicki Kuznair.  Motion carried.  Chris Strong will send second notices to those who have not
joined yet.

New Membership:  Bobbie Davis reported one new membership.

Old Business:
Pine Tree Project:   The Board has received a donation from Kelly Duchardt to plant pine trees
along the main entrance in WMT.     Vicki Kuzniar will meet with Kelly Duchardt to make the
arrangements for the purchase, planting, and placement of the trees.  The county Road
Commissioner will be contacted also to be sure the trees are out of the way of snow plows.

WMT Annual Garage Sale:   The date for this year’s WMT LA Garage Sale is June 12.    Al
Coleman will place the ad in the Canton Daily Ledger and make maps.

Lake Signs:  Chris Strong and Bill Phillips will determine preliminary placement of signs and
will contact the Road Commissioner for final placement.
New Business:

Guest Speakers:  Jim Rickard, (Drainage District), Tony Fahrenbruch, and Lisa Fahrenbruch
approached the board with concerns about the Big Lake.   Recently there have been reports of
people on the lake who are not authorized to be on the lake.  This has been an ongoing
problem which seems to be escalating.  Discussion ensued about how these unauthorized
boats are getting access to the lake.  Bill Phillips made a motion to place an ad in the Daily
Ledger to notify the public that these lakes at Wee Ma Tuk are all Private lakes and action will
be taken against those who trespass. Second by Bobbie Davis.  Motion carried.  Also the
boarding will look into putting an ad/notification on the local radio station, WBYS and perhaps
the ‘Shopper’.

As part of this discussion, another motion was made by Bill Phillips to look into the board
hiring someone to patrol the lake at critical times, spending up to $500.  Vicki Strong second.
The motion carried.  The board to meet with the Fulton County Sherriff,  Jeff Standard.

The board is contacting an attorney with questions about these concerns.

The Board also discussed possible ways to slow down some of the Jet Skis on the big lake.

A special meeting will be held to review the outcome of above meetings.

The meeting was adjourned at 9:10 p.m. with a motion from Vicki Strong and second by Vicki
Kuzinair.   Motion carried.

Respectfully submitted,
Bobbie Davis, Secretary
